Thomas Wrobel

A Jack of all the trades that don't involve exposure to sunlight, Thomas has been employed in various odd positions over his life. These  include being a webdesigner, 3d artist/modeler and a database engineer. Currently he works with his partner at lostagain.nl - their own firm that makes educational online games for dutch people. (But he hopes they will branch out into languages he can actually speak.)

He welcomes the opportunity to write reviews occasionally as a break to his typical day of fixing bugs and pulling his hair out over 3d vector maths that he almost understands.

A long time gamer he inherited a Commodore Plus /4 from his brother, which he enjoyed and appreciated for a long time despite it having hugely outdated graphics. He quickly found a fondness for large exploration based games “Mercenary Escape From Targ”, “Elite”, and when he finally got a PC “Little Big Adventure” - which remains one of his all time favorite games and obsessions. Needless to say when he finally got a Nintendo 64, Zelda blew his mind and Nintendo quickly became his platform of choice - Purchasing a NES and a SNES to catch up on the classics.

Thomas remains a diverse gamer liking a wide range of titles and hating the “hardcore/casual” definitions of today. That said, its advisable to keep Sports titles or anything needing a sense of rhythm away from him as he insists he is allergic.
