Dan's been gaming as long as he can remember. From an early age he was playing Nintendo classics such as Pokemon and Mario, but it was really in the PS2/GC era that the hobby really picked up some steam. He swears blind that the GameCube hosted the "golden age" of gaming, though he often finds little company in that mindset.
Nowadays he's a second year philosophy undergraduate at the University of Cambridge, which makes gaming a little more difficult to find time for, but as with all addictions they don't break easily - owning a 3DS and Wii U from the modern era, but keeping the retro interests alive as well with a NES, N64, Saturn, GBA and GC, he has a backlog that will take several lifetimes to get through. He has since given up trying.
