Javier has a long history in the video game business. For four years he worked in software retail before a lucky break at a video game company. There he spent one year in CS and tech support before another opportunity: he got a chance at being a game designer. He spent two years designing MMORPGs. It wasn't the fun he thought it'd be, though. So he went back to school to learn everything he could learn.
In university he received a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and Writing, then went on to get a Master of Science in Software Engineering. He tried his hand at real software development, business work at SAP-Business Objects. It was even less fun than designing MMORPGs. So he's back in school again, this time for premed.
In the meantime, he keeps on playing games. His first game was Pacman, his first Nintendo game was Donkey Kong, and his first system a Colecovision. Nintendo has a special place in his memories. He grew up on NES and SNES. He's owned every Nintendo system, including the Virtual Boy. Currently he has a 3DS XL and a Wii U and enjoys them greatly.
