    Super Swing Golf

    Somewhat confusingly, Super Swing Golf is actually the sequel to Tecmo's 2007 golf title for the Wii, PangYa! Golf With Style, which was known as Super Swing Golf in the States. To complicate matters further, the game launched across North America last year under the name Super Swing Golf: Season Two.     Telltale Games has become a household name thanks to its sterling efforts in resurrecting the famous LucasArts cast-off ‘Sam & Max’, dragging the point-and-click adventure back once more and firmly establishing it as one of the most humorous titles on the market. Now the team has linked up with the folks behind the Homestar Runner website to try and cast the same magic over that immensely popular, and extraordinarily quirky, world, choosing to focus on the oddball character that is Strong Bad as he tries to take down Homestar in the first of a five-part episodic experience, ‘Homestar Ruiner’. Has Telltale struck gold once more?

    Baroque

    Baroque is a roguelike dungeon-crawling RPG from Japanese developer Sting Entertainment. Initially released in the late nineties, the first version of the game was only available in Japan for the Sega Saturn, and later the Playstation. Now, more than ten years later, Sting and Rising Star Games are bringing a remake of the game for the Playstation 2 and Wii to Europe. Was it worth the wait? Or is Baroque a game that would have been better left in obscurity?

    One genre that the Wii has been lacking in since launch is that of the role-playing game, with the only major entry being The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, a title many people now deem as more of an adventure than a true RPG. Now, though, Atlus is helping Japanese developer Sting bring its remake of classic game 'Baroque' to Wii. After it launched back in June of this year in Japan on the PlayStation 2, it is finally being translated for the Western market, with the Wii edition in tow. But has the wait really been worth it or should it have stayed in the Far East?
