WarioWare, Inc: Minigame Mania

I love this game, I really do. In my opinion, The Wario Ware series is one of Nintendos biggest assets right now - Mario is losing credibility, Metroid is mainstream and Starfox is being wasted. However, unlike one of Nintendos other licences, Super Smash Bros., Ninty are certainly making the most of it. This is the first in the series and it really makes a statement about the series goals. Underneath the easily ignored story of Wario wanting to make money, This game delivers some of the purest, most intense and most exciting gameplay on the GBA. It sounds stupid at first, four second bursts of games, but as soon as that iconic tune starts pumping out of the speakers, gamer's instinct takes over and everything seems clarified into a single aim: complete the task depicted by the one word statement. Twitchy fingers and over stimulation are the negative side effects of this drug of a game. It's definitely a price worth paying.

Wonderful presentation, great soundtrack, almost flawless gameplay (or should that be gamesplay)... It's just a shame about the replay value.
