    Bottomless Pits

So I've never made a blog before so this is my first one!

Anyway, I've always had a problem with the "bottomless" Pits in so many video games weve all played...Don't get me started with "knockback in to the pit" deaths... What happens when you fall victim to one? You die/lose a life. Simple enough right? Well thats where the problem begins... If it were indeed a bottomless pit, The character would not die as he would just continue to fall and fall for eternity. And since most characters don't eat or half the time even need to breathe, they wouldn't starve or suffocate. Say that I am rambling but has this never bothered anyone? Should we instead get a screen of our hero falling while yelling obscenites for all eternity, Thus forcing us to reset the power on the console causing all the hard work we've poured into gameplay to wipe clean? Yeah maybe losing a life works just fine. But just so you know, If I ever make it into the video game industry, Watch out for "bottemless" pits...
    Next time...
Why does your character sink like a rock in water? Smilie
