Muse Pictures
Here are 4 of the pictures from Muse, have more but cant be bothered to upload them all...Muse - November 23rd
Last night I went to see Muse at the Wembley Arena as a early Christmas present from my sister, and it was quite frankly the best night I have had for a long time and the best gig.We got there at about 6, we were running late due to work and college and was expecting it to be packed. It so happened that hardly anyone had turned up since I think most people wanted to skip the support band. The Noisettes, who you can find on MySpace...(Link) Their music was pretty good, it wasnt great but it was good enough to get my adrenaline rushing for Muse. After the Noisettes went off, the Arena started to fill up, by 8.50 the arena was filled and we were luckily enough to be about 2/3 metres from the stage. At about 9 Muse came on, they started with Knights of Cydonia as they did in Reading, with the intro playing...the horses running noise, the whole crowd went absolutely mental and they ran on. I've forgotten the exact order of the songs so here is a list of them by album...
Showbiz
Origin of Symmetry
Absolution
Black Holes and Revelations
They played Take a Bow as the closing song, quite fitting really. My throat still hurts from trying to sing like Matt Bellamy =)
This was apparently, according to Matt, the first time they had their own set. Dom, drummer, was situated in a large hexagonal cone shaped stage, with a h6 screens above him, placed in a hexagonal shape, with a ton of lights. Behing them all was a large screen which would play what the camera recorded but would place affects and sometimes have the videos on. They had a white piano in the middle with their extra member near it with his keyboard and otehr gear. Matt spent most of his time nearer to the left...further from me =( and with Chris straight infront of me. During Hysteria Matt was straight infront of me. Chris was absolutly amazing, he did the whole head baning thing he always does in the videos and looked the part. Dom was awesome, how he managed to play non-stop was intense. And of course Matt was the most captivating, his voice is more amazing than the purchased tracks would allow. He sounds better live!
So yeah, amazing night and now I can imagine myself back in the Arena everytime I hear Muse. My friend took some pictures so I'll upload them the sencond he sends them to me.
