Hello C3.
It really has been an age since I last posted on here for a sustained period of time. It must be the pressures of A-Level. Such a huge step up for me as far as work hours are concerned. Well, I should be around more often, although I won't be dabbling too often in the gaming discussion, more in the General Discussions that go on around here. With the introduction of the Wii, I really have become less committed to gaming. I do not own a Wii, and as such I fell no need to keep up with news so much nowadays. I still have countless DS games, lying on my shelf unfinished; Yoshi
Thought I would make this a blog instead of s topic.
Basically, this morning I received an email saying that my image had been short listed for Young Photographer of the Year!

After around 7 weeks, I have found my Black DS Lite - Huzaah.
I searched everywhere, absolutely everywhere - except one place, the top row of the 'really high' bookcase. Few said it's mighty shelves could be climbed. To even attempt to accomplish such a feat was considered the fevered dream of a mad man.
Every day for two months, it's been mocking me, playing me for a fool. Concealing my DS within its mighty body, it tortured me. Whenever I walked past it, it chuckled the laughter of knowledge, capitalising on my ignorance of what it concealed within.
A moment of madness took me; armed with my torch, coupled up with my murderous determination to find my DS Lite, I felt invincible.
Scaling it's height was no easy task - I made camp at
My Archos 402CC broke the other day. The screen had a random crack on it. I say random; I think it happened when I slammed it down fairly hard on a surface, but I am not too sure.
Anyways, it had this 5 years warranty, so of to Curry's it was to get a brand spanking new one.
On my arrival, I find that they are no longer in production anymore, which was a kick in the teeth.
However the worker went off to the store cupboard to see if they had any in stock.
A few minutes later he comes back with this fat old box in his arms. I was absolutely amazed to find that he had brought back an Archos AV700.
This was more than enough to compensate for the 402.
Here is a little comparison:
402 - 2.2-inch screen and 20GB hard drive
AV 700 - 7-inch screen and 100GB hard drive
In short, I love Currys.
Well, I have not written one of these...these..now what do you young, good for nothing ragga-muffins call them, online journals...or something equally ridiculous.
Anyway, I have nothing better to do so I figured I would display my boredom in the form of a blog.
Nothing spectacular happening at the moment. I have my GCSE's in a few months, and to be honest I am scared out of my head. I mean, why I actually chose triple science as a subject I will never know. I cannot grasp Chemistry at all, and my physics has been going down hill since year 10. Biology is alright though.
If anyone could offer some tips for revision that would be great!
Game wise I have not really been playing anything. I still have Yoshis Island, Elite Beat Agents and March of the Minis to complete. I have been so inundated with coursework I have not really been able to find the time.
I am still looking at purchasing another DS game though, so any recommendations anyone?
Now, this is a bit in advance, but I am also looking at getting a desktop/laptop this summer, preferably one able to play games. My range is around
Hey,
I have not really been on C3 properly for some time; I just occasionally make a fleeting visit to catch up on the news and forum chat.
Anyway, I think I have covered most new stories, but I feel I am lacking in certain bits about the Wii I should really know. So, can anyone fill me in on what
I don't come online for 3 weeks and the whole site gets a facelift? Nice!
So, I bet you have all been wondering where that maverick renegade Monkeyman has been at haven
It has been a pretty good holiday so far. On Sunday we departed for a few day in North Wales which has been quite pleasant. Visited a few castles, went on some walks, and climbed 2000ft up Snowdonia. The view were absolutely breathtaking. The climb itself was not that hard largely due to the weather being so good. Brilliant sunshine and a strong breeze, perfect climbing weather.
The campsite we stayed at had very good facilities, and was located right in the heart of the mountains, with a river running through it.
On inspecting the river with my bothers, he warned me not to step on the rock, I ignored him, and within a second I was on my arse sliding into the water. This got me througly pissed off, but it's nice to look back on it and laugh.
The trip back home was long...very long. 7 hours stuck in a car is not very pleasant, and as soon as we got home I got terrible stomach pains. Then this morning, I woke up feeling amazingly ill. I went downstairs and sat outside. My mum asked what was the matter. I felt like I was about to throw up. I then heard my mum shouting in my ear, and I felt very cold and shaky. I opened my eyes and saw that I was on the patio floor. Apparently I had collasped for about 40 seconds with my eyes wide open.
I laid down, and the pain quickly past, and now I feel fine.
My parents put it down to an upset gut and lack of fluids.
Was very scary. First time I have ever passed out before. Just hope it does not happen again though.
The weather today has been cloudy, but very warm. Mowed the lawn, got a football pump, pumped up football, broke football pump, played football with my brother.
Looking forward to England V Jamaica tommorow. C'mon England!
Bi!
