Slap it like you're mad at it!

    Huzzah!

Another term has sped by, and a rather eventful one at that (and is probably why I haven't been active on the forum for a few months or so), trying to wring out as much experiences from the great canvas of uni life. Very apprehensive about final year, but hopefully I won't have any regrets when I have to graduate (mainly as I'll be worried about the mountains of debt!)

Still stuck to the wii despite its limited armory of games, I've become somewhat obsessed with Secret rings (yes I liked the music, it wasn't something that sunk in), and once you acclimatise to the wii controls it is really worth it. I'm glad to see Eledees out (even though the pun raised a chuckle from me I did prefer Elebits), tried it a while ago on J and I's gaming quest, another worthwhile title.

Hope you guys are all good!

    Long time no see!

It's scary how much I've missed the interweb!

Yes, I've finally moved! There wouldn't be much else to drag me away from this friendly interfaceSmilie. I really really regret saying that English was quite a light workload; the buses syndrome has finally surfaced (when you wait for one- not that I was waiting for work, three come along at once!).

Maybe it wasn't such a practical idea to see Muse in Wembley Arena on Tuesday, but let's say it was a welcome distraction. I was *that* close to Bellamy before being swept away in a sea of flesh, huzzah! Lovely setlist bar the lack of City of Delusion and inclusion of Soldier's Poem. Ah well...nice selection of oldies too: Citizen Erased, Bliss, Newborn. All in all very nice!

But now it is back to work! Internet will be stocked in my house tomorrow!Partyyyy

    Puddles of water!

Aha, it has been almost 3 weeks into the second year of uni! How freaky!

The downpours have massed slowly; in a way it's quite relieving , shows that Britain is showing its true colours instead of an odd heat wave. The bad thing is, it equates to shed loads of rain.

However, this is not what the blog's about.

Some people wade gingerly across puddles, hands on trousers. Some jump in, not caring who gets splashed in the process. What gives a more lasting impression? Think about it.

I want to be a puddle jumper one day, however it might be too deep and I may turn into a Dr Foster. Scary!

Plus, I miss halls. I feel as though I've moved house although this is where I've lived 17 years of my life. Campus life seems so foreign now, it's rather depressing. I don't think I'll even manage my bout of trolley riding, it'd probably be dark by that time as I waste my posterior waiting for some unreliable mode of transport. It is most perturbing and would move into a cardboard box if I could. I'm scarily being quite serious about this.

On the flipside, I have become a writer for C3, happy days! I've dreamed of having my little face plastered on that page with a little blurb of my own creation. Hoho, I'm extremely proud of it that I can actually withstand looking at my face! Plus I think I look better in black and white. I'm also going to submit my articles for my uni magazine on Wednesday yay!

Narcssisms aside, this is a rant of how my house deal went horribly wrong. Am considering camping in a cardboard box with smartie tube turrets or manic craziness. There's lots of limitations to what I can do because of it and it's driving me mad! I haven't even donned my pink ballet slippers yet!

People, enjoy your hall years. I want them back so badly...

Here's me blogging for a totally stupid reason, but I'm sure it beats the "matroid prime" guy's, so why not?Smilie

In 3 years here I got to 1000 posts, wahey! Not that it seems a big thing anymore, I remember how people used to make threads for those milestonesSmilie but it seems like 80% have gotten there anyway!

I also got a brain age of 20 yesterday on my 4th stamp (it's my bro's game and he doesn't live with me, so only get to play it on some weekends and stuff)! I never knew this kinda stuff would be addictive but yay! Usually games tell me my brain is bacon fodder (well, the guy just told me to take results with a pinch of salt, pfttttt) so this was sweet!

Now I gotta complete Pokemon leaf green for the next step of my quest of dorkiness! I'm loving itSmilie

Left it soooooo long but I feel like blogging up. Looking back, my last entry was that photofest in my brunel room, brings back sad memories. Looking for a flat with J but not finding much love so far, although there are quite a few candidates now due to actually pulling finger out and doing said searching.

Apart from that, been to America, experienced the sweat meltingly highs of 40 degrees and more, went to my fav place circus circus in las vegas(soon to be gone), yosemite (saw deer but no bears, awwwww) and various other places around the area. Amazing food, really miss that now!

In between gatherings and the odd BBQ, my brother and I, J and my cousin went to see chilis for the first time in such a memorable place, Earls Court; where I lost my gigging virginity to Matt Bellamy (hm......). The queue reflected the quality, and the fact the sun was full on out was the icing on the cake really! Unfortunately, when you get standing tickets it's a kind of benchmark on how tall you'll fare amongst the masses and basically, if you'd see anything or not. Being 5ft3, I guess...not.

Good enough for the music though! Wet sand, charlie (Smilie!), tell me baby, the greats from SA mixed with the ever popular californication, can't stop (Smilie) by the way, give it away now (Smilie), with the golden oldies somebody weird like me and blood sugar sex magick! Oh and notable surprises included Throw away your television (Was CLASS LIVE) and Jon's cover how deep is your love (why i was shoutsinging along I dunno) All were amazing, got me jumping more than Muse those couple of years ago. Nice stuff!

Have just been back from a weekend of visiting some of my cousin's old friends from Burma, all great! Showing them London soon in a week's time, although I know diddly squat about it, they probably know more than I do!

And most recently I had a dream where I was pregnant, gave birth in a surprisingly nice hospital...however when I saw my baby in those plastic cots I legged it! It was mentioned in my dream that I was still 19, and CANNOT imagine me having babies now heck no! I've never been one of those broody types...I'm just a kid myself!

OH yeah, did I mention that I can bend a note on the harmonica now!? Just one draw but I was so happy!

Currently Playing: Brain training (before it got yanked away), Pokemon leaf green
Currently Listening to: RHCP of course!
