    What's crackalackin' ladies.
I've been 'back again again' for a few days now but.. I'm kind of worried that once again I'll only be around for a week or something before I disappear again. Who knows?

Some of you probably remember I was kind of depressed last time I popped up- I can't say I'm depressed at all anymore. Buut I'm still a worrywart and I still procrastinate too much, but what else is new?

I've been playing games a lot more lately, and also watching a lot more anime. Hopefully once I get this week over and done with I can do even more of those things.. I have a presentation and an essay to do how fab.

Long story short I'm really happy with my life at the moment for various reasons, I feel like I've finally reached some level of calm. Probably not long before that gets thrown off again but oh well idrc. ~sparklesparkledesu~

I'm currently procrastinating that's pretty much the main reason I'm writing this.
    So C3 how are you.
Currently Playing: Sonic Generations, Tales of the Abyss
Currently Listening to: Sonic music literally every Sonic ost there is
Currently Watching: Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai, Ano Natsu de Matteru

You proper do need to stick around tbf. You're part of the elite C3 mod team bruv! Gotta stick together, nahmean?!

Just beat Sonic Gen btw, and fuck, I love it. Haven't the time atm to do all the challenges, but was so happy with the end product. And I don't care what everyone else says, I can't wait for Sonic 4 Ep 2 either! Need to think about buying Sonic CD off PSN too...

Yeah I should probably pull my weight around here from time to time.. I'm even worse with modding than I am with washing the dishes. ;c

I give you the highest of fives.
I have minor niggles with Generations mostly about Classic Sonic's gameplay (physics are kind of off and stages were too short with too many bottomless pits) but ANYWAY it was still thoroughly enjoyable.

And yes get Sonic CD it's brilliant. I recently developed a huge appreciation for it and its soundtrack (especially the Japanese soundtrack)
and TAILS is so fun to use in it because he basically tEARS THE GAME APART like the manly shota kitsune he is.

PS. SOnic 4 Ep 2 is guna be great but it'll be even better if it locks onto and FIXES Episode 1.

Locking on to Ep 1 and playing as Tails through it all would be suh-weeeet.

    YAY! Supes Smilie

Son Gens was good (I have it on my shoddy PC) - I loved the classic levels (both gens) and the Colours level, but the inbetween stuff in 3D sonic was really poor - close to the source material yep, but looking back at Adventure 1/2 I realise how loose controlling Sonic was and how fine tuned Colours was by comparision!

Do wish the two Adventure series levels were tighter though, really made it trickier then it should have been really.

Don't give a monkeys about Son4 Ep 2 - still disappointed I spent like £7 on the original *shudder*.

Need to get into CD, haven't played it properly yet.

Yep.. but Episode 1 would need remixing for Tails to fit in assuming Tails doesn't have homing attack.

Not that that's a bad idea, Sonic 2 & 3 were remixed for Knuckles but.. I worry modern Sonic Team are too lazy for that lmao.

    @Jeebs
I loved most of the 3D Sonic stuff.. though I found City Escape really disappointing. It is surprising how horribly SA1 and 2 have aged though, the gameplay is really flawed in retrospect- back then I just didn't know any better.

Sonic 4 Ep2 will have a reworked physics system and if SEGA live up to the original promise a 'lock-on' feature of sorts will hopefully be implemented.
    So.. I have hopes.

I started playing Sonic Gen today, and I don't think that it was the controls of SA1 and 2 which where at fault, rather that the newer Sonic controls don't really work with the levels properly, that and they've added stuff that makes it less straight forward, although the Classic sonic version of City Escape is probably the hardest level I've come across so far.

Ah, you say "so far", Stu, since I thought Crisis City was the hardest. tbf, I loved the level though, since the lava and fire was a nice change of scenery.

I gotta say as well, I really miss the Sonic Adventures. SA2 was ace. It's like SL said though, they haven't aged too well, and it's more that at the time they were more awesome. But I still rebought SA1 on PSN and crave a proper SA3. In reality though, it'd probably be pretty poor and it's more my younger self wanting it.

Yep definitely agree that Crisis City is a pain in the ass. Probably the hardest for me? My brother hates Classic Rooftop Run but I never found it that hard. Classic Crisis City's little 'gimmick' is brilliant though omfg. I wish I could experience it for the first time again just because.

If SEGA remade Sonic 06 and made it not shit and changed the story (a lot) it could have been.. good.. maybe.
Since it was practically SA3 no matter how much people try to deny it, same game layout and all.

Can you spoiler the 'gimmick' for me? I forgot :[

Hm, Sonic Unleashed was tentatively called Sonic Adventure 3 during development, though. I haven't played Sonic 06 because of all the bad rap it got, but I did watch every cut scene on YouTube and witnessed the SHIT loading times.

A lot of games were probably tentatively called SA3 at one point, Unleashed is called Sonic World Adventure in Japan which is close enough, but '06 resembled the Adventure games most in terms of gameplay and formula.

But '06 is even worse to play than it is to watch. I'm not sure the reviews even convey how bad it is.. it's the most broken unfinished experience I've ever had the misfortune of spending my money on.

haha, I had my suspicions in that gimmick part, but yeah, was cool. Caused me many deaths though...

Interesting. Thought they were really putting everything into Sonic 06 when they announced it and the simple name of Sonic the Hedgehog. What a shame it turned out to be toss.

Yeah pretty ironic when what was constantly promised to be a ~glorious return to form~ ended up being the biggest pile of shit SEGA had ever regurgitated up.

Important games should never have huge time constraints jfc.

Happy to see you return, welcome back. Sounds like you've become more confident and you're enjoying university life, which is nice to hear.

I suppose so, though not as much as I'd like to.

I still don't enjoy alcohol and have problems opening up to people I meet irl, but atm I'm living relatively comfortably with 4 housemates so things could be a lot worse!

I can't say I'm enjoying my course though- I'm about halfway through so I figure I'll see it through to the end just because.

Meh, no one has to drink alcohol. I don't care what anyone says, you have the right to not drink it.

True that, but it does make socialising easier because it loosens you up- I guess that's why people do it, because today's society is naturally so uptight that people find it hard to be themselves normally.

    Myself included sigh.

So I imagine being a little tipsy could help me be myself in social situations but aGHAGSA I hate the taste of alcohol sry.
