Good news and bad news

Well I sort of fixed my problem. I disabled my fire wall temporarily and reinstalled my USB connectors registration tool, and my connection worked but only for as long as my fire wall was down, which puzzles me because the security program that my firewall is on(Macafee), says that the registration tool has full access Can anyone help? Router trouble, Please help

I'm new to this site but not to gaming and online gaming is awsome, (just like this site), but a few days ago i got a new wireless router and today I tried to connect my Ds to it but it didn't work. I went to nintendo's support site to try to fix the problem and I did everything that was there, but no go. Needless to say I'm sad because I can't play online with you guys! On top of that my USB connector isn't working either. If anyone has a solution to this dilema then your input would be much appreciated. I joined this site to make friends with other gamers like me, so PM me anytime and thanks for any answers to my problem!
