THQ Wrestles Away from Nintendo Wii U, Denys WWE

Are you a wrestling fan? You may need start your bid for champion status on platforms other than Wii U.

According to reports, the latest entry in THQ's popular wrestling simulator, WWE 13, will not be bringing Nintendo Wii U to the ring. Reasons for the lack of Nintendo's upcoming home consoles in THQ's plans are unclear, except an outright "no" when quizzed by a fan.

The game is due for release this October on PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii. It's likely that timing and release issues could explain the lack of a Wii U version, though the game is out on the original Wii for Nintendo fans desperate for a sweaty Lycra fix.

Yet another poor decision from THQ, at the current rate they're doomed. Wrestling games have a ton of potential on all Nintendo platforms.

Also not on ps vita although they were considering it at one point, i would even buy the vita if wwe 13 was on it and many more would definetely love wwe 13 on a handheld.
