However, some clarification was definitely required to understand exactly what is trying to be achieved with this new hardware. After all, the initial messages that were streaming onto forums across the Internet focused on how Xbox 360 games are not compatible with Xbox One, the used games market is to be hit hard, and sharing games with others is looking like becoming a thing of the past.

Blake Jorgensen, Electronic Arts's Chief Financial Officer, today stated that EA is indeed developing Wii U games. The news broke at the Stifel Nicolaus 2013 Internet, Media and Communications Conference. This comes in direct contradiction of statements by EA's Jeff Brown last week, who said the company had "no games in development" for Wii U.

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes will take advantage of the innovative Wii U GamePad controller very soon indeed - 24th May in Europe, to be precise. Players will be able to navigate through Gotham City using an enhanced interactive map and select favourite DC Comics characters to assemble a powerful team of heroes, all with the use of the controller's touch screen. They can even enjoy the entire game experience on the GamePad in off-TV mode, or have a second player join in on the TV, so they can fight crime together without having to share a single screen.
