High Voltage Software have revealed the first footage from their upcoming Wii Shooter, The Conduit.

Since revealing the project and engine details last month, the studio have crafted a slick trailer packed full of guns, futuristic environments and alien scum. IGN report that the game handles as one would expect, using IR pointing for aiming, a few unique Wii-remote elements and unique alien-detecting tech.

High Voltage are currently seeking a publisher for The Conduit.

This is the sort of game that the Wii needs, aslong as it is done well.

We need a decent FPS. I appreciate there have been a few, but not many are note worthy. It's a console that should be full of them, but I believe many publishers are afraid of doing so, essentially after seeing what happened to Red Steel.

Fingers crossed they get the backing they need, and certainly the media coverage they seemingly deserve!
