Metal Gear Series Set to Continue Post Solid

By Jorge Ba-oh 20.05.2008 7

With Metal Gear Solid coming to its conclusion, Konami have confirmed the series will continue post Solid Snake.

Speaking with MTV Multiplayer, the company confirmed plans that Metal Gear Solid 4 (PS3) was complete.

Fans of the Metal Gear series, which started on the NES over 20 years ago, will be relieved that despite being Solid Snake's last outing, the franchise is set to continue.

This is really just the last chapter of the saga of the Solid Snake story.

...I think he is kind of nervous about it. You can't continue from this step. You can't start next chapter. We really do close up the story.

Solid Snake recently appeared as an unlockable character in Nintendo's franchise epic, Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

With Meal Gear Solid coming to a close, would an entry on the Wii or DS be in order?

I don't see anything wrong with branching out, I mean I enjoyed Metal Gear Acid, despite it being spin-offy.

I just realised, Metal Gear comes out on my day off. Day one, fat munch and Pepsi. Awesome!

MGS 5 Raiden Revenge!?!?!

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562

No it's not coming to Wii. Maybe DS but not Wii...I just don't see it happening.

I hop it has something to do with what happens after MGS3 and possibly about when
