Konami's Koji Igarashi on Castlevania DS

Konami's Koji Igarashi recently discussed the upcoming Castlevania DS and possibilities for a Wii version.

He reveals that it's a totally new entry to the franchise, confirming again a female lead due to fans requests and to motivate their designer to create a female lead.

On a Wii motion-controlled Castlevania he said was unlikely due to Wii-remote whipping causing possible stress for a player's arm during long, vampire dueling sessions.

Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia is due to ship in fall 2008.
