A series of upcoming Nintendo first/second party 2008 releases have filtered in, including Wii Music, Disaster, Animal Crossing and more.
According to GamePro, the following are due for release in 2008, though have not been given a firm release date.
- Fatal Frame IV
- Wii Chess
- Disaster: Day of Crisis (delayed)
- Mario Super Sluggers
- Wii Music
- Kirby
- Animal Crossing Wii
- Glory of Hercules
- Pokémon Platinum
- Band Brothers DX
- DS Air
- Hoshi no Kirby: Ultra Super Deluxe
- Fire Emblem DS
- Wander Donkey
- Dr. Mario Online Rx
- Everyone's Pokémon Ranch
- Magnetica Twist
- Yakuman Wii
A fair few of these are to be expected, but nonetheless would certainly fill gaming droughts throughout the year.
How do you feel about Nintendo's Wii and DS line-up this year? With a fair few bigger names already making their way to retail, is there anything left to fill your stockings this fall?

I think the lineup is way better then feared with no highlights expected from me at Christmas time last year. With Okami, Boom Blox, Lego Indy and a lot of others (let me name The Conduit as a big name in Serious gaming), the year already looks better then expected. Wii gains some speed at least with games aside from cheap minigames and shovelware (which is waaaayyyyy to much on this Console!).
So this list is very poor, but I trust it fills some more till the end of the year.

I am also hoping for a new Animal Crossing for the DS that would interface with the Wii version.

Same! I LOVE Fire Emblem (On DS). I go further and say it's Nintendo's best franchise. I just think it's perfect!
