Yet another reason for gamers to consider the upcoming World of Goo for download, the WiiWare version will have an exclusive 2 player co-operative mode.

Even though the title will also appear on PC, Mac and Linux, Wii owners will have this mode all to themselves, according to GoNintendo.

Great news. This game is going to be a huge success on Wii, but then that's a no brainer..

Is there any news on when we can expect it?

I hope this isn't mario galaxy/lostwinds style "co-op"

Hopefully more developers are going to be doing amazing stuff to WiiWare just like this and Lost Winds.

Awesome! But it already was a must-buy for me. Smilie I just hope it won't cost more than €15.

How would co-op work in this game?

I think it will likely be a go each sort of thing.

Hopefully the co-op will just be two pointers that can both put the goo balls where ever, rather than a go at a time. It'd be a bit more frantic and quicker then.

You as can only manipulate one emerging ball in the single player. There is probably more of a danger of structures toppling in CoOp because in single player you know exactly what you yourself are trying to do and how you are trying to strengthen the structure. CoOp on the other hand will require good communication to prevent toppling.

Perhaps that could create that frantic gameplay you seek, squeek.

That's not the definition of co-op...

I just assume it's 2 pointers who build in the same structure.

Also, it's not very weird that the other versions won't get it. Nobody has 2 mouses attached.

The definition of CoOp is cooperative play, and that comes in many forms one being the way I suggest. As long as you are working together that is Co-Op.

Until someone inevitably being a bastard decides it's the completely fuck up your game type of co-op.

Looking at you Resistance and Daniel Simmonds (not that he'll read this).
