Ubisoft have confirmed the next entry into the Dogz series as a Wii-exclusive.
Players will be able to adopt a pup from over 18 different breeds, train their new friend to compete in races or kit him or her in more than 100 outfits and accessories. Dogs can also travel to other Wii consoles and interact with other players.
The company also released a handful of screens and artwork for the game "designed to take advantage of the Wii system's technology".
Shoddy development or a worthy competitor to the DS's nintendogs? Bare in mind this is for Wii...

I wish someone would interview these guys and seriously question them about their Wii support. These games, Dogz and BabyZ Party, are nothing but shovelware. Where is the Wii version of Beyond Good and Evil 2? Where is the Nintendo Quality? Where is the real support? These guys need to stop. They are going to be responsible for the Video game crash of the 2000's. Flooding the market with crapware should not be tolerated.

Pretty much - not so sure about sales figures though. Surprising though, as RS2 was supposed to be one of the bigger Wii projects in development - haven't heard anything since though, unfortunately.

Its looks horrible, and dosnt suit the game at all, AS WELL as meaning it cant come out on Wii....the biggest saleing platform of which the previous platform got it the most game sales for the previous game.
What are they thinking?!

I don't have a dog or dogz so I might be interested in this. Hopefully you will be able to bet online in those dog races. They should also put in a lot of hard to get outfits, accessories and breeds so Wii owners can buy/sell from/to others. The developer could then make some profit via a tax system, and make sure the sequel will turn out even better.*

Sad to say but I was looking into these two days ago for my 7 year old daughter who is turning 8 on Sunday. I was hoping to find a Ninten-horses but unfortunatley none was to be found. I remember Oldskool telling me that all the 'z' games were crap.

I love how they've dropped PS2 support, the thing that was holding them back from making better looking games on Wii, and it still manages to look like one of the crappest efforts about.
Meanwhile, 360/PS3 get Prince Of Persia and Beyond Good & Evil 2 despite the fact that Wii is outselling the living crap out of both of them. There is something backwards about all this.
