22 years in the business, Ubisoft has just released information on its top selling games in the list which can be seen below. Of interest is the fact that Red Steel, the exclusive Wii launch game, is the only franchise in the list to have only had one iteration.

  • Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: 20 million units

  • Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: 19 million units

  • Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: 16 million units

Red Steel has done quite well.

Surprised Red Steel did so well... must be 'cos of the Wii hype train...

It's a real shame. There are so many better Ubisoft games.

Red Steel seems to have done well, could have been better though imo. Would love to see a sequel, most definitely.

I hope they make a RS sequel, yeah. I enjoyed the first one, unlike most people. It was just nice to play something like it on a Nintendo console I guess. And do the Driver figures include the sales made whilst it was owned by Atari? Smilie

    WTF Where is BG&Evil Smilie
Shurly that must of sold over a million?!?! Smilie

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562

That's a good question - not sure, though if it didn't that would be one of the more shocking figures! From what I've seem Driv3r and Driver 4 are a bit poo.

    No it hasn't.

Also, with Prince of Persia, do they mean the first one ever??? Or are they being stupid and do they mean The Sands of Time?

Oh and I loved the first Rayman. There aren't many games with that much atmosphere.

Despite it\'s critical acclaim it was a commercial failure, which was very bad news. It\'s very lucky that there\'s even going to be a sequel, but hopefully it\'ll do better this time so Ancel can complete the trilogy.

Am I the only one who sees the Ubisoft\'s Wii treatment has gotten worse? I don\'t see why anyone thinks RS2 will be amazing. A mediocre game with too many sales. What\'s next? A cash in.

EDIT: They quite probably mean Sands of Time. Hardly anyone actually knows that there are PoP games before that.
