Prince of Persia Confirmed for Wii

ROFLMAO. I'm so naming my next pet "Prince of Persia".

And meh, I don't think I'm interested in this. Ubi's not been very good lately on the Wii front.

There's PoP spin-off coming to DS as well, isn't there? Will be interesting to see how the Wii edition comes off. Many think it'll be 'Petz: Prince of Persian Catz' or something

They better not f-this up. Seriously. Hopefully will make up for the dross the company are shitting all over the Wii.

I'm actually quite shocked there going to the effort in actualy making this.
As long as it's not a mini game fest or a compilation of the previous games I'll remain cautiously optimistic.

I think I'll play the wait and see game. Ubisoft has not developed quality core games for the Wii. I also would like to know who the developer is. If it's not one of their better developers then I will more than likely stay away from this game. Too many companies seem to select their worst developers for Wii titles. Spider Man 3, FarCry, and Drive Parallel lines are just a few examples of what I'm talking about. Terrible games and very low quality.

Spin-Off? Rejoice! For a Spin-Off has never been available on the Wii before!

Oh wayyyt. Yeah, there's actually a chance this turns out alright IMO, but I just don't see them putting effort into it alongside the big hitter. It'll be their money raiser.

Yeah, it may turn out all right. But what against a true PoP like the three latest ones? They have great graphics on Wii, they are playing well (just beside fighting, that's a mess). I fear the offspring will be a graphically shitty game containing minigames and evil game mechanics.
Ubisoft right now has to prove a lot and has to grow back his reputation slowly. Ubisoft ruined Wii quite a deal...

But I hope this game will be great. You just have to spend quite a lot of money to built a good core game with great graphics on Wii. But it's possible, but start doing it. So this spin-off better be one of it, or else!

Hmm, Im hoping its good, ill get this and the other one, becuase that will come out on pc, they always do, and pop was a pc only back in sands of time.

Oh magnificent! As if the Wii getting left out on Soul Calibur IV and Street Fighter IV (the two biggest fighting games of the YEAR, by the way) we get left out on the next gen Prince of Persia, and get a spin-off, which will probably feature the finest of... the PS2's graphics.

Would people rather have the same game as the 360/PS3 one with shit graphics?

I'm sure it's going to be a shitty port...well whatever. I'm buying the PS3 version. The graphics on it look absolutely beautiful. It looks like a moving painting.

Why though? At least with an original game thre is the possibility for two games they may be worth purchasing.

With a port you will ALWAYS end up with an inferior game on wii and it will only be bought by wii only owners. If you own the other systems then your not going to bother.
