The latest issue of Official Nintendo Magazine has exclusively revealed upgraded DS Download Pods will hit the UK. The newly named 'DS Download Centre' stands will offer up far more than the original pods, which disappear from high streets quite a long time ago, probably without many people noticing.
A DS Download Centre is a sleek, tall white stand that has three key features:
1.) Wi-Fi downloads can be obtained right there and then with you Nintendo DS system;
2.) For those without their DS on them, there will be an actual DS unit attached to play the latest game;
3.) Passers-by will be able to watch the video-screen, which is above head height to ensure clear visibilty, so they can see what games are out now or coming soon for DS.
At this very moment these new DS Download Centre stands should be popping up all over the UK in GAME, Gamestation, HMV and many other major game retailers and even supermarkets.
The best part is that Nintendo promises to not leave these languishing with the game roster of games available for long periods of time, with new content being placed on them regularly.
For legal reasons a scan of the magazine cannot be provided, but it will certainly be hard to miss these large white stands. Be sure to let us know if you have already encountered one...

Umm, they do that already...
At least, the Nintendo Channel here in the US has DS downloads on it, and they've been updating them fairly regularly (at least 2 new batches of downloadable demos have shown up since the channel came out 3 weeks ago).
