Marvelous Entertainment has confirmed Rune Factory: Frontier for Wii in the latest edition of Famitsu. Following Cubed³'s exclusive revelation last June of Rune Factory coming to Wii, news has now broke in Japan after success with the second Rune Factory on DS.
The first scans of the game have now appeared on Jeux-France. The series is heading to the home-console world and taking along with it the style and gameplay mechanics from the well-received DS versions.
Rune Factory: Frontier is currently penned down for a TBA 2008 release.

This looks fantastic so far. Great to see Japanese developers pushing Wii more and more now...Let's see if Western devs can pick up the pace as well.

I hope this game is not slated to release this year. The graphics need work and please do not let this be a port of the DS games.

But seriously, what are the chances of this getting over here in the next 5 years? It's pretty upsetting, because it just looks awesome.
I really liked Rune Factory, and this looks really great, even from just a few screens...
