High Voltage Software have sent over a 15-page factsheet for the upcoming Wii FPS, The Conduit.

The images reveal some additional details on the game's plot, including the mysterious "Mr. Ford", a whole host of human and alien enemies along with weaponry at your disposal to help save the world. As the artwork and design suggests, it's sure coming along nicely..

The developer recently confirmed aims for a Q1 2009 release on the Wii.

Please find attached a brand spanking new Conduit overview.

Presuming its a factsheet/booklet for press, wouldn't think its the manual though the initial parts of a manual would no doubt be similar.

Game looks pretty good, shame about the names and characters - they sound a little cheesy!

I love how forthcoming they are with updates and informations. It's so annoying when a game shrouds itself in secrecy until it release. It also seems like they are listening to the communities concerns and wants. Keep up the good work High Voltage!

Considering Wii is a console with absoluetly zero quality, AAA, ground-up FPS titles (Corruption... still more of an adventure), I don't see any reason to nitpick about what we've already seen. It clearly has the potential to become the pioneer for future Wii action game exclusives, and I think High Voltage are doing an excellent job in the way they're promoting this game, and in the way they're making it how they want to make it.

Art style? It isn't very creative, admittedly. Then again, Neither is Halo, Unreal or Gears.

The mans suit on the front page of the booklet looks extremely ghey, those glasses (sunglasses?) are a fashion no no.

Yeah there aren't many FPS games with stunning artistic value anyway. I agree that the sunglasses and the rest of his getup look kinda lame right now. The weapons look pretty good. The little mites actually look better than the full grown guys to me. In general I don't really think all of the colors in the game mesh. I hope it all comes together nicely though. It will all come down to whether this game is actually fun to play.

This looks like it could be a pretty solid game and fun. If it sells well, I imagine there will be more FPSs on the Wii.

I wonder what te Shrieker does?
I Like the Drudges Weapons, maybe there shold be a few more human weapons, but then, they'll just be as generic as and SMG, Assault rifle and a Rocket launcher, maybe add ons for the weapons?

I like the All seeing Eye aswell.

If you look closely, you spot page-numbers. These may be the page-numbers of the fact sheet, but they seem like manual pages to me (parts of! Not the whole nine yards!).

    I agree totally with D_prOdigy:
This is 'the only' shooter on Wii. Stop nitpicking, please, as the factsheet isn't more bad then other fps-stories or the like. On the contrary: some twists there are more logic then in other games: Mr. Ford, stealing equipment from the organisation, why there are 'cannon fodder, say no-brain-zombies', that they are somehow related to the story and not uninvolved people shoot to kill, dangerous humans turned against the organisation called 'Prometheus'...
I like the idea of a conspiracy, I like this kind of plot.
And let's face it: This shooter isn't more bad then Halo in terms of story. And Halo 3 is considered by every one as the messias of shooters.
Be fair. I guess High Coltage didn't have a tenth of the budget that bungie had for their game...
I find your lack of faith disturbing!
