Hey isn't there suppose to be a remake of the original Fire Emblem Game(s) coming for the DS in the future? Maybe that's it.

Fire Emblem was my initial thought.

What did the moon teaser turn out to be?

The castlevania game mentioned I think.

Probably something not too major like prince of persia ds.

Well to be honest first thing i thought was fire emblem myself.
I mean take a look at this image.



The sword in this image above, and the one marth is holding are quite similar. Wouldn't suprise me if it is the one thing we've all been wishing for, the original/remake of the old fire emblems that never made it to us.

But with other things in mind, zelda seems highly unlikely. Shenmue 3 is a complete no-no [@ Martin] Especially since it's normally all hand-hand.

One game people may of completely crossed off is a game which it could be linked to. Some of the old fans favourite rpg from the dreamcast era.

It is unlikely, but it's a closer link than it would be to zelda or shenmue. Plus their has been a bit of truth behind the rumours this year, although i doubt their will be any information or confirmation of skies or shenmue again.

But in my opinion, it's gotta be either a remake, or a new game in the series. Most likely a remake, following marth.

It's probably Fire Emblem DS. I have little doubt now.

Marth is the main character of that game.

If it is fire emblem it would be a bit dissapointing, it's hardly a game to get hyped for is it? unless there taking it in a new direction then I don't see why they would be trying to get people excited and be all mysterious about it.

That sword dont seem like Fire Elebem, Marth's Sword handler has sharp tip while that mysteriously sword has curved tip. Say, it might be Roy? or Ike? But postively not Zelda or Marth

I thought of Zelda at first but then they said "Just kidding!". It's probably the big Nintendo announcement at E3 (which will probably be something that has nothing at all to do with the sword).
Hopes are: Pikmin, F-Zero Wii, Starfox wii, and Super Bowser World.

It doesn't need to be exactly the same to be marth, it bares quite a large resemblance, if you looked at the picture i provided. If they wanted it to be easy they could of just given it away.

And, why would they make a clue for the fire emblem ds game, it's been confirmed for sometime.

Maybe they're just going to surprise us bi announcing Mother 3 AND kingdom hearts!!!!

I for one wouldn't be disappointed in the least. In fact, I'm really hoping for it.

I want Fire Emblem DS more than anything else on the radar.

Doubt it would be called Kingdom Hearts 3 i would be another spinoff like the chain of memories game. But i agree from first glance i thought of kingdom hearts. Lets hope that the sword is irrelevant and it is Goldun Sun 3

So the moon teaser last time, was that for the Castlevania game?

Are we like... The only people on the planet who love Fire Emblem? ;-;

I'll be kinda disappointed if it is just the DS Fire Emblem, since we already know it exists. Also, it's not really like the press to make a big deal about any FE games, since no-one likes them except a few sane people. It seems more likely than all the other suggestions in this thread though, and I definitely wouldn't mind some new screens. I'd prefer to see it in motion though. I really hope the new style hasn't screwed with the awesome animation in the GBA ones...

It's so much fun to built one more or less obvious theory of what it could be after the other.
