They're not even updating the graphics?

Fuck. That. Shit.

Chrono or no, this reeks of cash in. A cash in thats far too late anyhow.

^^ cant wait and so soon too

I'm not too fussed about the lack of updated visuals, I'm just happy that I'll finally have the chance to play it. Smilie

YAY ! a new.. i mean old remake !.. i mean port -.-"
AFTER ALL THOSE YEARS OF WAITING ITS A PORT ?! WTH ?!

Pretty dud trailer in my opinion. Reveals nothing. None the less, cannot at all wait for this game.

Don't tell me this is going to be a direct port. At least update the music and graphics A BIT. Crispier pixels pl0x.

Judging by how quickly its coming out, its probably a direct port with some touch screen mini games added for good measure.

Hopefully I'm wrong. Still, I've never played it before, so I'll probably still get it regardless.

There might not be any touch screen functions at all. Hopefully they will, but this seems like a really direct port from the SNES. If so, it will probably just be menu scrolling or character movement.

Like I've stated from the official Chrono Trigger thread, I'm not sure if I want to pay for the same game again. Might consider this a rental.

It will also feature a new dungeon Smilie

A brand new dungeon and a Wireless Play mode adds exciting new dimensions to this timeless game.

Taking advantage of the Nintendo DS hardware, CHRONO TRIGGER makes its way onto the portable platform with all-new dual screen presentation and Touch-Screen functionality

I'm all for a direct port. The music still sounds fantastic on Snes, And I love the look of the original graphics. Looks fantastic on a DS screen too. (loaded into a snes emulator, onto my r4)

Finally a chance to play this again and on ds too Smilie. Can't wait to play this.

I dunno why people would pass up the chance just because it's a port. Most of us will have never played it before, and even so, one of the best RPGs ever made being made handheld and essentially being "revived"? How can you say no? The more sales this gets the more likely we are to see exclusive Nintendo Chrono sequels.

Most people would pass because its easy to get the original (which this pretty much is) for free on PC. Not sure if I want or not myself.

Ha ha not EVEN a remake.

Kind of annoying though that the virtual console (or even wiiware if they really needed that dungen in) could have offered this game but at a reduced priceSmilie.
Oh well I have a snes emulator on the wii anyway..
