Toki Tori Dev Back on Nintendo's Wii

By Adam Riley 19.07.2008 1

Following the successful transition of Toki Tori to the Nintendo WiiWare service, developer Two Tribes's services have been snapped up by The Game Factory for a Rubik's revival on both Wii and Nintendo DS. Rubik's World is set for a US release this coming October and takes the classic puzzle toy to the next level. It keeps the functionality and concept behind the world famous Rubik's Cube but totally revitalises the rules in order to turn it into a unique gaming experience that will appeal to players of all ages.

The Wii and DS games will actually differ in terms of the overall content, but there will be a core of eight original puzzles included, in which the game's abstract environment will be increasingly populated by "cubies", living and learning beings that can be played and interacted with as gamers educate and entertain them. The better a player is at the game, the more cubies will eventually come to life, unlocking new challenges and activities along the way. Other than that, the Wii version will have inclusions such as the ability to compose your own music, compare game statistics with others, as well as progress through the game with friends in tow and share new creations via the Wii's online Wi-Fi functionality.

Well, atleast they can't go wrong with models.

Just Blandness and total thought of boredem would put people off of this game.
