Culdcept DS and Knights in the Nightmare Website Updates

By Adam Riley 21.07.2008 2

Two eagerly awaited RPGs have had significant updates made to their official websites - the first being SEGA's Culdcept DS and the second is Sting's Knights in the Nightmare. Over on the Culdcept DS website it has now been revealed that the strategy RPG will launch in Japan on 16th October for 4800yen (~22), and will support between two-and-four players over either a local wireless or online Wi-Fi network.

Coming from the same series as popular Culdcept Saga, and given how the Xbox 360 version made it to the US earlier this year, chances are high for a Western release for this DS edition as well.

Next up is Sting's Knights in the Nightmare, which shows off how during the game players can control a wisp just like a ship in a shmup, avoiding enemy bullets and picking up power ups, whilst also moving around to command the units like a traditional RTS. A gameplay video can be see here, whilst a cutscene clip can be viewed by following this link. In addition to this, there are some mini-videos that can be found on the website's javascript banner, with users able to hit movie change to see that other clips.

Hopefully it will not be too long until Atlus confirms a US release, especially considering how much of the game appears to be in English anyway...

I wouldn't be surprised if Atlus USA localizes Knights in the Nightmare, since lately, they've brought over a ton of games from Sting.

I really want Knights In A Nightmare. It looks fantastic!
