Wiiware Updates; Castle Defending and Wild West Shooting

Posted by By (Phoenom) 4 Number of reads 35387

The US Wiiware Launch title Defend your Castle has finally made it over to PAL regions, as well as the download service's first Lightgun game, Wild West Guns.

Defend Your Castle, made by XGen Studios, is a Wiiware translation of a Macromedia Flash-based Browser game with a different art style and other extras. The game consists of the player attempting to halt enemy units from reaching their castle with a variety of actions, such as picking them up and throwing then, or using weapons against them. Yours for only 500 Wii Points.

Wild West Guns, made by Gameloft, is a Lightgun-type game set in the Wild West, that sees the player shoot at a multitude of targets, such as vultures and balloons to armed robbers and renegade soldiers. The game features 6 levels with 3 challenge stages in each and supports the Wii Zapper Peripheral. This title will set you back 1000 Wii Points.

Are you planning to get either of these titles? Have your say below.

"Wild West Guns" = "Vultures and Baloons"

F that W, give me a 500 point game, it's called Wild Gunman and it's regarded as the best Lightgun game on the NES. (features in Back to the Future 2 also)

I wish they'd bring light gun games to the VC (there's none to my knowledge, correct me if I'm wrong).

Duck Hunt is the obvious one. Does anyone remember Hogan's Alley? I remember that was a lot of fun when I was younger. I don't know how fund it'd be now, though (one of WarioWare Touched mini-games is based off of Hogan's Alley).

I don't guess I ever played Wild Gunman.
