Developer Deep Silver has revealed a unique survival horror project for Wii taking players back into the 1980s.
A fearless mountaineer embarks on a quest to find his lost brother and not an ordinary tumble around town, but his leads take him to the Himalayan Mountains. He encounters an ancient curse as he climbs: the souls of people who died villagers, mountaineer, monks etc. Is his brother still alive?
The developer promises "visuals and breathtaking views" with gesture based combat and Wii Remote exploration to scan the surrounding environment.
"With a fresh setting, gloomy atmosphere and the innovative use of the Wii controls, Cursed Mountain will deliver a unique, terrifying game play experience. Deep Silver is confident that Cursed Mountain will help to further establish our international presence, and help expand the survival horror game genre on the Wii platform."Hannes Seifert, Managing Director at the Deep Silver development studio.
Wii players can start to climb in 2009. A handful of artwork and the game's logo can be found in the album below.
