The OLFC have taken Nintendo's upcoming Disaster project and slapped a rating for it in Australian shores.

Suggesting a release shortly, after months of delays and no-shows, the action packed Wii-exclusive brings together natural disasters and a devious terrorist group out to take over the world. According to Vooks, Disaster: Day of Crisis has been given a content rating of "M" given the use of heavy violence, themes and infrequent coarse language.

Given the classification's filing this week, it seems likely that players can travel the world before the end of the year.

I have a feeling that this may be a sleeper hit based on no evidence whatsoever. I feel that there is a slim, slim chance that the reason we have heard nothing about this is is to shut us up.

Like to say: "look we release a great game every fucking month and you still complain. The last one we released you didn't even bloody notice."
    errr...

The story reminds me of Michael Crichton's State of Fear. About a group of eco-terrorists who start natural disasters, just to 'prove' that global warming is killing us.

    Exactly.

Did the OFLC just band porn worldwide or something?
Conducted with market research firm NPD, the study surveyed 2,611 gamers and determined that lines between casual and hardcore are blurry at best, and gamer demographics are broader than conventional thinking has held. As Big Fish chief strategy officer (CSO) Paul Thelen stated during a Casual Connect keynote, the traditional casual approach of "'one size fits all' doesn't work."

There making a mountain out of a molehill.
It's not like the rating is going to stop you getting the game anyway.
