Dead Rising Invades a new Wii Trailer

Fancy whipping out the old Wii remote and taking out some zombies? Capcom make it possible with a new trailer for Dead Rising.

The Japanese giant, well known for the Resident Evil series, recently announced a port of the Xbox 360 hit Dead Rising for the Wii. Featuring tweaked controls and toned-down visuals for the system, the game aims to re-establish the feel of beating zombies to a bloody pulp from the comfort of your couch.

Dead Rising: Chop Til You Drop is due to burst into stores towards the end of 2008.

The controls look pretty much the same as RE4 Wii Editions which were great jb.

I think I will stick with Left4Dead.

First Wii game I've seen that looks better in screens - but I think the quality of the video upload has something to do with it as well. Look at the Capcom logo at the end, it shouldn't be that blurry...

I'll still give it a go to see how it compares. The fact that it's controlled like RE4 Wii gives me hope that it'll be fun even if it doesn't look the best.

Let's face it: even the X360 game wasn't good looking, what do you expect?

But I love the quiet and smooth music playing in the background when slaying zombies.
I personally didn't want to buy the original game, thou. It's much too much trash in a game.

And I don't like cruelty against animals in games, not even against evil zombie-poodles - even pink ones! *lol*

I find your lack of faith disturbing!

The resolution on the video was crap, but still it looks very dark, i'm sure the Wii can do more than 20 colours at once.

It looks almost as bad as Iron Man on the Wii. Why anyone would buy this when they can buy Resident Evil 4 on the Wii is beyond me. Smilie
Just wait for Resident Evil 5, and if you haven't got a 360 or PS3... well, then you're not going to be getting a good horror game for the Wii (except for RE4) for a while.

Killing lots of zombies doesn\'t earn the character any respect IMO. Smilie
