Rumour: Tatsunoko vs Capcom May Head to Wii

With franchise crossovers continuing to be popular with fighters, recent rumours have suggested a Wii version of Tatsunoko vs Capcom: Cross Generation.

The game is exactly what's said on the tin: a collection of popular faces from Capcom and Japanese animation studio Tatsunoko Production going head to head in gorgeous 2.5D-styled environments. Currently no platforms have been directly mentioned to host the latest Capcom cross-over, but more recently a Japanese website lists the game as "Wii board compatible".

Initially this was linked to the Wii's balance board, but is more likely support or compatibility between the arcade board and the Wii's inner circuitry.

In any case, the game is due to ship in Winter 2008 bringing together Tekkaman, Hurricane Polymar, Ryu, Batsu, Chun-Li and more.
