5 year Old Boy Bids 200,000 for Nintendo Wii
Recent News
The digital life starts early with young'uns these days, with a 5 year old boy bidding an insane amount of dosh for a Nintendo Wii.
Little Archie was doing the Internet rounds, as any youngster does, whilst he stumbled on eBay looking for some toys to bid for. Finding a Wii, he slapped a 200,000 bid on the console.
His grandfather Ray Atkinson, 54, only found out his bill after receiving a confirmation email requesting 197,654. Fortunately the Wii is still wrapped up in the seller's hands, and the Archie is now drafting plans for flying cars and teleportation devices.
Thanks to The Telegraph.

noneLittle Archie has a credit/debit/paypal account then?
Seems unlikely.
I bet Ray just left the machine on while still logged in :p

noneIsn't there some T&C where if the seller really wanted, they could hold out for that 200,000? I remember hearing a story like this before, only the seller was a nice guy and let the money go.

Jacob4000The real suspicious thing here is that the ending bid was 197 thousand pounds. Who else would bid the Wii up that much? Another little kid?
Only the seller knows the amount that the bidders have put in.
