Once again the Hanabi Festival returns to Virtual Console, and brings with it a classic never before released in Europe; Super Mario RPG!
Yes, after many years of waiting, Nintendo have finally given Europeans the classic Super Nintendo title; Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars,
the spiritual predecessor to the Paper Mario series. Made in a collaboration between SquareSoft and Nintendo, the game saw the first time Mario teamed with Bowser, and the first time he was put in a Role Playing Environment. The game costs 900 Wii Points, and, what will come as a relief to those with a packed Fridge, it only takes up 64 blocks.
Alongside Super Mario RPG, is a title that made an appearance at the first Hanabi Festival, but was removed; Super Mario Bros; The lost Levels (600 Wii points like before). But this time it is here to stay;
Other games confirmed to be released in the next few weeks are;
DoReMi Fantasy: Milon's DokiDori Adventure- SNES
DIG DUG- NES
Spelunker- NES
Bio Miracle Bokutte Upa -NES

noneAh, so you guys FINALLY get to bask in the glory that is Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Awesome! One of the all time great games.
I hope they release it here in the States soon!
I'd like to know why Ninty never released such an epic and highly acclaimed Mario game in Europe way back during the good ol' SNES' reign? Bizarre.

IfritXVIIDownloaded Lost levels as soon as heard.
Been campaigning for Nintendo to put Lost Levels back on for ages now. Glad they've finally done it.
I'm not sure on Mario RPG. Had a go on it a few years ago and hated it and I'm a big fan of Square's RPGs.
