    Wii Exclusive: Cursed Mountain - New Details / Trailer

    Some new information has been revealed about Deep Silver's exclusive Wii title 'Cursed Mountain', as well as a new trailer.

  • Huge enviroments inspired by true-to-life Himalayan areas. Not only mountains and paths, though, but towns, villages, temples and monastries as well;

  • A lot of research about people and Buddhism was done to give real life behaviour to CPU characters. They can be people, phantoms, souls, demons, etc.

  • Even with such large enviroments, the graphics are solid for the buildings and textures. Also there are strong particle effects included, although the character design and animation is not yet up-to-scratch in the early version;

  • Why Wii? Firstly: Wii is "pretty powerful" and they can do all they want: enviroments, effects, etc. Secondly: The team is really interested in motion sensing for everything: combat, climbing…They didn't want just to press a button once again, they want a real fight with hard movements;

  • Find out what is real and what is an illusion;

  • It is a mix of survival horror and exploration in the adventure, with some climbing as well. There will some issues to resolve going ahead, but not classical combination puzzles.

  • Check out the footage of the game below:

    The scares (ghost face) seem very crude, and the character model is fairly ugly too.

    The environments look fantastic. Character model is PSOne stylee, but they know that already so it'll be resolved. Intriguing concept...

    Wow, this looks pretty nice. I didn't know what to expect when they first announced it, but it looks like the developers are taking it seriously.
