After seeing this new trailer, shouldn't Konami release a Castlevania Wiiware game at 16:9 480p since it would be cheaper than a 3D PS3/ 360 game and would play and sell better?
They have perfected 2D gameplay and after seing wait they can do with the DS I'm intrigued as to what could be accomplished on the Wii. Make it an episodic game at a lenght comparable to other episodic games, price it at 600 Wii Points per episode (6 total) released once every 6 weeks and see the $$$ come by itself... mmm, to many 6's huh?

Hell yeah, that sounds great. It would be WAY cheaper for them to chuck out a 2D Castlevania (even with reused sprites) - people would definitely buy and buy.

Why do people always go on about games being costly....I mean, when you go to an Indian restaurant do you sit there and say "oh they should have used Tesco curry, it costs less"?

Because the Indian curry place is actually making a profit and the investment in better ingredients becomes justified, especially if more people go there for the good food (the very point of a restaurent).
The matter is not quality, it is balancing investment vs profit with values (value being better tasting food).
Then that ignores other areas of the market, like fast food places that do provide food for the values of cheaper price and quicker, instant gratification with \"good enough\" tasting food
