Disaster Hitting Wii in Europe this October?

By Adam Riley 28.08.2008 3

Various European retailers are throwing around new release dates from publishers, including the likes of Disaster and Rune Factory on Wii. According to CubeRevolution over on NeoGAF.com, various European retailers are throwing around new release dates from publishers, including the likes of Disaster and Rune Factory on Wii. German retailers have been told to expect both Disaster: Day of Crisis for Wii on 24th October, plus KORG DS 10 Synthesiser on 10th October.

However, GoNintendo has a list from a Danish retailer that states the following:

  • WarioLand: The Shake Dimension - 26th September, 2008
  • Samba de Amigo - 26th September, 2008
  • Sonic Unleashed - November 2008
  • Animal Crossing: City Folk - Q4 2008
  • Wii Music - Q4 2008
  • Disaster Day of Crisis - Q4 2008
  • Rune Factory: Frontier - 28th March, 2009
  • Sonic and the Black Knight - Q1 2009
  • The House of the Dead: Overkill - Q1 2009
  • Little King's Story - 11th April, 2009
  • Wii Sports: Resort - Q1-Q2 2009
  • Mad World - Q1-Q2 2009
Make what you will of these release dates. Usually lists like this have a way of turning out to be true, but for now things probably have to be taken with a pinch of salt...

I certainly hope disaster comes out, it looks like my sort of game Smilie.

I would love KORG to come out by then but I doubt it.

I wonder how they are going to house the instructions. It will be cool if it's within the software using diagrams and other images rather than a hefty fucker of a manual with all the European languages. If they did that it will likely be the largest ever for DS software. I would not be surprised if it has it's own unique box size, not only for those reasons but to also make it clear it is not a run of the mill DS game but instead software that can be used by professionals.

Little King's Story - 11th April, 2009

Evil. My Wii is still able to play imports though.

Mad World - Q1-Q2 2009

The sooner the better, that game is looking fucking awesome right now, anyone that thinks differently is a twat. The producer is a genius and has produced some of the finest projects at Clover with him at the helm. I adore all his games.

Must get-

# WarioLand: The Shake Dimension - 26th September, 2008

# Samba de Amigo - 26th September, 2008

Waiting on reviews-

# Sonic Unleashed - November 2008 :/

# Rune Factory: Frontier - 28th March, 2009

# Animal Crossing: City Folk - Q4 2008 :/

I could not care less about disaster, it looks set to be one.
