That's quite crap. The sign should be lower as it looks messy being so close the the curve of the white top.

I tried playing the DS game but didn't like it at all and I'm a fan of similar games like Harvest Moon.

I also think they should have put more detail into the characters this time around. They were okay for N64 and to some extent Gamecube but on Wii it looks crap.

Was anyone actually foolish enough to think this would be any different to the previous Animal Crossing games? Oh well, I'm still looking forward to it. Not THAT much though, as I'd pretty much forgotten about it until now...this just brings back the painful memories of E3...

The GC/N64 one was so full of atmosphere and free NES games...

They could have at least had the female perched on the male's shoulders while trying to reach up for one of those juicy red apples, but no, they are not even staring at juicy temptation. Arrrggh!, Animal Crossing is too fucking saintly.

You know, this game still remains fucked up as it has always been lol, you cannot even be fucking black in this game!. Even if you have a black Mii and use that Mii's face as a mask, as you can, you will still have a white body, lol. It begs belief!, why the fuck has nobody questioned Nintendo about the lack of black. What excuse could Nintendo possibly have for the lack of all races to be depicted in the game/s, and why still is the level of customization of your chara so pittifull in comparison to some other games, games that are not even community based!

How hard can it be to add a bit of colour ffs, what the hell is preventing them from doing this?. I just think it's seriously fucked up that people of black origin are forced into living in a town that is void of black people. Animal Crossing should be embracing diversity, not the opposite.

I should give a I have a dream speech to all these peeps on Wii Speak when I get the game.

Well, Animal Crossing is a Japanese game... In general Japanese games lack black people. This noone can deny.

Oh stop exaggerating. If you're really not impressed with the direction the new Animal Crossing is taking, don't buy it. Stop complaining and talk with your wallet.

Who the hell is making them? Why should they have to add it just for the sake of diversity. I am not white, except I don't go expecting developers to put the token non-white guy (let be asian, black or arab) into the game, just for the sake of diversity.

The only problem with Animal Crossing is that it is Nintendo's only game, but other than that, I'm still looking forward to it. I'm afraid that they have not changed it enough to make it fresh, but we'll see. As it is, even if they don't change much, it will still be pretty great in its own right.

As for the box art, that looks about right.

Because they're making the game for EVERYONE. The whole concept is to have a unique character that you can customize to represent you. That's like asking why you'd give the option to make the character female. It's not just for the sake of diversity. It's for the sake of personalization and customization.

Anyway yeah I was excited about this game too back before they showed it. The early ideas of using the weather channel and stuff were intriguing. I guess they figured more of the same would be better than trying something new.
