Platinum Games recently spoke out on their choices for developing the comic violence title Mad World for Wii.
Speaking to CVG, Atsushi Inaba praised the Wii's accessibility, with the game's pick up and play nature feeling fight at home on the console.
We're really interested in the Wii platform so we wanted to create a really cool and stylish game for that. As you can see [from our Leipzig presentation] it's really easy to pick up and play so when we came up with the concept of Mad World the Wii felt like a good console for that. It feels like a game that is at home on Wii.Atsushi Inaba, Platinum Games
Despite strong claims the game is unsuitable from a handful of mainstream media outlets, both the studio and publisher Sega seem adamant to give Wii gamers some refreshing comic action to contrast the influx of poorly developed Wii sports knockoffs.
