The Conduit Gameplay Video Blowout

By Jorge Ba-oh 03.10.2008 3

High Voltage recently provided an extensive hands-on session for Wii exclusive shooter The Conduit, new videos inside!

IGN have posted up a mammoth collection of gameplay videos demonstrating new environments, refined visuals and just some of the Wii-remote mechanics players will be using to take out the enemy.

The game is certainly shaping up, with improved lighting, better variation in textures and environments. A release is still being decided, but recent reports still suggest a Q1 2009 timeframe.

Also released was a collection of short technical demonstrations, showing some of the neat visual effects and tricks High Voltage have implemented:

Hmm, my post disappeared.

Anyhow, the game looks significantly better with every new version. Especially the particle effects this time around. Explosions look nice too.

Most impressed with the outdoor stuff, decent lighting/particles. The hand motions are what put me off though, a little strange.

It's looking better and better. The firt handgun in the first video looked really shiny.
