    Bandai Namco and Marvelous Entertainment have revealed a couple of tasty treats in this week's Famitsu magazine, along with other tidbits being uncovered. First up is news of the 2D platform title Klonoa: Door to Phantomile being brought back from its original PlayStation days and remade for Wii, complete with cel-shaded graphics, NES-style conrols (with the Wii Remote on its side) and a Japanese release date of 4th December.

    In addition to this, Marvelous Entertainment has confirmed that the popular PSP series Valhalla Knights will also be making the transition from a Sony system to Nintendo's Wii, in what appears to be a brand new Action RPG, complete with multi-play Wi-Fi gameplay, subtitled 'Eldar Saga'.

    Other than those two rather decent bombshells, Bandai Namco also shows off Destiny Links for DS (an Action RPG by new subsidiary company Bec) in the new issue of the publication, whilst Another Time, Another Leaf is heading to DS from Arc System Works.

    Since last week's news was skipped, it was revealed that following the success of Cooking Mama, 'Gardening Mama' is coming out this Winter, Capcom's Monster Hunter Tri for Wii is still on-track for a 2009 release (it will be present at TGS, with the controls revealed, a demo available, the introduction of monsters and a new promotional movie shown), plus more details were translated by the folk at NeoGAF on the following games:

    Dungeons and Dam (DS/Acquire/2009)
    • Defend the town built around a dam from monsters attacking at night in this RPG;

    • The layout of the dam and the flow of water is just as important to your survival as the growth of your characters and the construction of the party;

    Ragnarok Online DS (DS/Gungho/18th Dec 2008)
    • Movement and attacks can all be controlled using the touchpen;

    • It supports Wi-Fi Connection for up to 3 players at a time;

    • Pre-order goodies include a bonus booklet, two rare items from the PC version of the game, plus a thirty days free trial for the PC game.

    Kizuna (Wii/Jaleco/Winter 2008)
    • Battles are extremely simple - hit the A button on the wii Remote to attack the enemy in front of you;

    • There are huge boss monsters ten times the size of a normal human;

    • Find the weakspot of the bosses by moving the cursor around the screen, then when the cursor is over a weakspot it turns from blue to red.

    Arc Rise Fantasia (Wii/MMV/Winter 2008)
    • A party consists of three characters and the longer the same characters stay in the party and battle, the stronger their bond grows. As this intimacy bond increases, there will be visible effects;

    • A single character can pull off a combination of attacks with "single connect", while multiple characters can pull off a combination attack on an enemy with "party connect";

    • If all three party members use a special "Excel Act" attack on the same enemy it turns into a super attack called "Trinity Act" that deals out huge damage.

    Infinite Space (DS/Sega/Spring 2009)
    • Large scale space opera RPG;

    • Your character does not equip armour and swords to fight, but captains battleships in space instead;

    • You collect modules for your ships to freely upgrade and customise your fleet;

    • Collect crew members with their own skills and specialities to change the strategy and abilities of your fleet.

    Expect more updates next week...

    The short snippet of Valhalla nights in the Wii schedule trailer actually looked quite nice, although I probably wouldn't get it.
