Following massive success with its latest Power Pro Baseball game on Nintendo DS, the same team within Konami's Japanese branch is working on a special manga-based DS baseball title. The game is to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of both Shounen Sunday and Shounen Magazine, two manga publications from Japan.
The game is set to feature the famous teams featured in the various baseball manga series that have run in both publications over the decades. There will be Adachi Mitsuru characters in the game, with people already spotting Ko from Cross Grame, Hiro from H2, Ta-chan from Touch, Bakabon Papa and Detective Conan. There have been questions as to where the Kyojin no Hoshi characters are, though, since they are one of the most iconic baseball characters in Japan and were certainly published by Shonen magazine, thus qualifying for the game. However, no doubt more information will be revealed in the coming months.

The official website has now gone live, but there is still no confirmation of a release date, price or even confirmed game name!
