Quantum of Solace Online Wii Footage, Facility on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The first snippets of Wii gameplay from Quantum of Solace online have filtered onto the net.

The same user who brought us the first ten minutes of excitement from the game, Euan193, has had a go at the online component, tearing his way through a level with a similar layout to the deathmatch classic from Goldeneye/Perfect Dark, Facility.

I actually thought it was the 007 goldeneye facility map when the screenshot came up, damn, no wonder they didn#t show any Wii gameplay footage before the release.

Bah, turning is so slow. I hope you can adjust the controls.

Not that it matters for me of course...

OMG! It is! Awesome!

Hopefully we have the ability to adjust the sensitivity and bounding box size. So far, I'm really loving this. Gonna have to pick this baby up!;-Smilie

I've heard nothing but good about this game, so heres hoping Smilie. The 'I've just got shot cue jagged red border thing' is ugly hopefully they fix it.

Well the Wii version is apparently pretty crappy, it got 52% in ONM, i know their reviews aren't exactly trustable, but giving under 70% for a game is pretty crappy.

I hope that this will not be another worthless movie game take on, because most of the movie games have absolutly nothing to do with the film. It looks a lot like GoldenEye, which might make it good, but I think that the Wii controls might not be as fluid as the other consloes.Smilie

If anything the wii controls would be a hell of alot easier to use then the other console controllers. RE4 for wii turned out to be the best one and alot of people prefered it because of the controls. Anyway the hame in my opinion does look alot like goldeneye so it will be pretty interesting to see if they make a good game outta it or screw it up.
Either way I will prolly end up buying it

From what I hear about this game it doesn't seem like to much of a buy. The story line is primarily based on Casino Royale with a few QoS stages added on. The cover system feels clumsy on all consoles. The Wii version is said to have horrible frame rate issues that show up constantly offline. Also theres all the problems of AI and graphics. Although the online multiplayer does have a better frame rate for some reason Smilie

I wonder why Beenox Studios got this rather than Trayarch. I guess Trayarch needed a break since they were working on the PS360 and Wii versions for CoD: World at War and the PS360 versions of 007: QoS. Doesn't matter though I'm getting CoD: WaW rather than this crap Beenox coughed out their assesSmilie

Personally, I think it looks quite good. I want to check it out some more to know for certain.

I have NP here in the states, and they're actually very fair and trustworthy, but I prefer checking games out for myself and see if I really like it. I would've missed out some major fun games over the years had I listened to critics in these game mags and websites. Pisses me off actually, some of these boneheads.

Anyway, hopefully 007QoS is worth picking up for Wii.
