New Screens for Sonic

Sega have revealed some new and impressive shots of the Sonic and the Secret Rings Sequel; The Black Knight.

Already looking even better than the Wii version of Sonic Unleashed, Sonic and the Black Knight is the second entry in the Storybook series that began with Secret Rings, and will combine Sonic's Trademark Speed with Motion-Controlled Swordplay.

this one look too good to be real XD

Damn this game looks good. Smilie

Eagle-eyed forumers seem to have found out that Black Knight is off-rails and will have alternate pathways too.Smilie

The 2 sets of screens seem to have a different looking Sonic. The one in the second set looks a bit more like his secret Rings self.

The "split paths" thing could be like that stage on Secret Rings where you have to get all the keys to help "Sinbad" so I won't get my hopes up.

Looks good to me.
I actualy loved Secret-Rings controlls, felt just right to me. (except, of course, going backwards).

Hope they get the ballance right again this time.

Looks like they have made a good engine, either way.

I hope they put more effort into the gameplay and ditch the minigames though.
Adding a two-player would be a hundred fold better then the minigames that Secret Rings had.

Last update; Mice,Plumbers,Animatronics and Airbenders. We also have the socials; Facebook & G+

Yep, having more than one playable character definitely hightens the chances of some kind of race mode too.

I hope they don\'t leave out Tails and Amy simply because they\'d look weird holding a weapon. Amy as a joke character with Hammer plz Smilie

EDIT:... Oh god, they\'re gonna give Shadow a ye olde crossbow aren\'t they?

You cannot "waste" good graphics. Sonic Team can do nice graphics but bad games. Other devs need to learn to do nice graphics too

I think you can. Because here you have a game with really good graphics, that I wouldn't play due to poor gameplay. So the extra effort would have been better for another game

Hate to say it Supes, but he pwnzt you :3 I agree, if this turns out crap I'm going to miss out on some pretty nice eyecandy, all because they focused on graphics instead of gameplay :3

Good pics. Just want a lot more running and less fighting. Speed sword play would not be a bad though.

But you never know, they might actually get the gameplay to work? Let's hope soSmilie Guys, imagine zelda with graphics similar to this quality? Now that would shweeet. I especially love the grass, something TP had a serious problem with (really muddy ground textures).
