Ben 10 Jumps Past 2.5 Mil Copies on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

D3Publisher gas confirmed worldwide sales for platformer Ben 10: Protector of the Earth has topped 2.5 million units.

Based on the Cartoon Network series of the same name, the game was released on various platforms - including Wii and DS, with 1st Playable Productions doing the business on the dual screen side and High Voltage handling the Wii, PlayStation 2 and PSP releases.

Having our first-ever Ben 10 interactive game be as successful as it has is a huge accomplishment for us and this is another milestone of which we're very proud. We look forward to continued success as we build the brand's interactive franchise with a great partner in D3.

Cartoon Network Enterprises' vice president Christina Miller.

The sequel, Ben 10: Alien Force, shipped late last month for the same formats.
