Tenchu 4 to be Ported onto PSP on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The latest Famitsu has reported that the previously Wii-only ninja adventure Tenchu 4 will be seeing a PSP release.

Tenchu 4 continues to follow the story of Rikimaru and Ayame, and brings in some movement based attacks and cat-waggling sneak tactics. Although the game will remain a console-exclusive, there'll be a port of it for Sony's PSP. It's not certain whether it'll be a completely different outing, or a tweaked down reworking - but what is confirmed is that the game will carry the same name.

And another Wii exclusive bites the dust...Shame. By the way, I know we've seem PSP/PS2 games put on Wii, but is this the first Wii-to-PSP transition??

I presume the planned versions of Tenchu 5 and 6 for Wii will likely be ported as well then...

At least it gives more reason for Sony fans to own a PSP. People used to not bother because all of PSP's games were on PS2.

And it's still good news for Nintendo fans as long as Wii getst he main version of each game.

Its not so terrible losing exclusivity to the PSP though - still means the Wii is the only home console to have it.

What will be said is if you can't tell the difference between the two games. Smilie
