5TH Cell to Shock Nintendo Fans on Friday? on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

This coming friday 5TH Cell will be unleashing details of its third game so far. But will it be for Wii, DS or a non-Nintendo platform? Following on from the success of Drawn to Life and Lock's Quest, both on Nintendo DS, the team will be lifting the lide on its next original game on 5th December, just a few days away. Apparently "this never before seen concept will continue 5TH Cell's tradition of delivering high quality, original games with totally unique gameplay experiences."

"We're very excited about the upcoming unveiling of our latest title on IGN.com. We built upon the experience and evolving technology from our previous titles to deliver something to the player that is completely new. This title is innovative, engaging and completely unique. We look forward to sharing it with everyone on December 5th".
- Creative Director for 5TH Cell, Jeremiah Slaczka.

"The success of our previous titles has awarded us the chance to work on a new, exciting intellectual property. After many months, we're thrilled to show off our new title for the first time exclusively at IGN.com. We're set on delivering an amazing final product and meeting the expectations of gamers everywhere."
- General Manager Joseph M Tringali.

To help pass the time, be sure to check out Cubed3's recent review of the excellent Lock's Quest and be aware that whilst many may believe the game has not fared as well as Drawn to Life, Jeremiah Slaczka has confirmed it has done very well for the company indeed!

I would guess that it's their first Wii game...

Sounds good, probably Wii but most likely DS. Can't wait! Smilie

Well, there have recently been advertisements for both Wii and DS people to join the team, apparently, but from what some are saying, the Wii project is a little further away, so DS is indeed likely.

Karn will be pleased to hear that Jeremiah has now read his Lock's Quest review :-D
