Dead Rising Wii Gameplay Trailer on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Capcom has revealed a neat new gameplay trailer from the upcoming Wii version of Dead Rising.

The game sees you trapped in a huge mall as Frank West. But not just any mall; it's got a whole horde of flesh-eating Zombies wanting a piece of poor old Frank. Originally for XBox 360, the developer has shrunk down the game for Wii, adding in motion controls as you'd expect - to shoot and attack the undead.

Head to your local mall in February 2009 for some zombie action.

Gorgeous graphics for an N64 game!

LOL, it does look a bit last last generation in places, particularly the lack of lighting or decent atmosphere; but not so bad in others. Really does need a lot of fine tuning.

Would be nice if they fine tuned it in the same way that Sonic Team fine tuned the Wii version of Unleashed.

Didn't take them too long and it ended up looking really nice.

It looks fun, but ultimately a bit repetitive.

i played through the 360 version and thought the game was alright. the question you need to ask yourselves is, if the 360 game never exsisted would you purchase this game? i think most would, and they would be crying out for a sequal so its worth a look even with the n64 graphics. i rekon it will sell well and we will see an improved sequal

I saw this vid on Kotaku the other day and the colours were a lot more washed out and made it look really bad. Having seen this it looks a lot better I must say. Still not great but better.
