idk look ok but not the best lol

That art is new, so I'd assume this to be legit. The price GAME are offering this at is pretty good too, I might pre-order from them. Smilie

Boxart looks great too. Smilie

It looks terrible. The box-art, and the game, for that matter. There's no chance that this can be any good at all. I mean seriously..

^ That is beyond a joke. Sonic would be turning in his grave if only SEGA would permit his corpse to lay in peace, undefiled. Sadly, they cannot.

Blimey, I'm impressed. You've managed to build a time machine?

Secret Rings is a great game. From all the reaction I've heard, Unleashed is too. Is it really that hard for you to believe that Black Knight will be a decent title just because Sega have followed Nintendo's Mario-Waterpack idea and given Sonic an accessory?

I think it can work out. But SEGA haven't really given us reasons to trust them lately, have they?

We've only seen screens and some videos; and when screens look very good (for a Wii game especially), then there's already a good chance of it being a decent game. I too was skeptical when they mentioned sword, but it could be a very good spinoff.

Unleashed is a great game, and worthy of this generation's must-have Sonic.

Well, the box art is boring and not very good. I hope it is a placeholder. Where's the great golden-touched one from Secret Rings?

And the game doesn't look too crappy, it's just packed with a horribly artefacted jpg-packing algorithm. And beside that, you can't judge low-poly games out of stills. You have to see them in action. And maybe it looks horribly in action, I can not tell. But I certainly can tell, that these stills are of no clue as to what the games looks like.

But I don't expect big deals from a Sonic game anymore. That's why I was positively striken (striked? stroked?) by Secret Rings. No smash hammer, but surprisingly good.

I find your lack of faith disturbing!

Box art looks awesome. Being a mix of Unleashed and Secret Rings gameplay can ONLY be a good thing, so this may even be a Secret Rings beater.

I think it\'s great Smilie

Sega knows people like Secret Rings so I\'m sure they\'re trying their best not to screw up this game.

I hope the cutscenes are like those in Secret Rings to fit in with the storybook theme. Smilie

I don't get the criticism for Sonic and the Black Knight's graphics - it looks wonderful!

That's not to say the game will turn out brilliant, but it looks fantastic for a Wii game.

I also don't have a problem with the box art either. It does it's job perfectly. Gamers know exactly what to expect with the game - Sonic using a sword.

The artwork for Sonic himself is great, and just because it's about the only Sonic artwork we have seen from the game, doesn't mean it isn't suitable for the box cover. I think it's perfect.

We've got to face the facts really. We're probably not going to get a true Sonic 2D-esque game for home consoles using 3D graphics. Unleashed is the closest we've come to that, but as I read at Cubed3 recently, it would take too long to produce a full game based around nothing but travelling miles upon miles of land at supersonic speed.

The best thing to do is not hype up Sonic games too much, even when they look like something special. Go in with a cool head and appreciate what the game is.

From what I've heard, Secret Rings was a well-received game, and has a lot of fans. It was something different, so now perhaps SEGA have found something to work with and will improve upon it with The Black Knight. And the great thing is, it's only on Wii.

Looks good. I'll take it.

The boxart looks good.

Look at Valkyria Chronicles, they're on their way back to something good

Don't know how that'll work

The boxart is now up on The Black Knights page on the Sega UK website so it must be the final boxart. Smilie

i still don't see why they need to give him a sword. is sonic not as tough as he says he is?

Mario, Mega Man and Rayman FTW!!!

I see that sword and all I can think of is this:

Unfortunately, a comic book this is not.

I'll have within' two weeks of release

Go Typhlosion!
